Batman/Catwoman has a new release date

Tom Billie Jean King and Lucius DuBignon Clay Mann's Batman/Catwoman limited series at last has a new, revised vent appointment: December 1.

"Gotham City. Today. Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle have rekindled their long-running, on-over again, off-again relationship. Believing totally obstacles are removed from their path, they once again set out operational as a duo in their hidden lives: Batman and Catwoman working together to contend crime," reads DC's verbal description of the series. "In Batman/Catwoman, a crime history told across three separate timelines, Tom Big businessman, Mud Horace Mann and Tomeu Morey repay to the romanticist saga of Batman and Catwoman, continuing the storey they began in the pages of Batman!"

The series will address the doubled versions of David Bruce Mad Anthony Wayne and Selina Kyle's relationship - from their firstborn meeting to their for the first time kiss, and in some cases even out their marriage - told in the character's 80+ year history in Direct current's comic books.

"At that place's the past, when The Bat and The Cat first fell in love. Did they meet along the street? OR was it on a gravy boat? Rooftops, ramparts and gargoyles, and concluded 80 years of fans that have read their comics, are their only witnesses," District of Columbia's synopsis continues. "At that place's the distant subsequent, where after a long and joyful marriage Bruce Wayne has passed away. Selina Kyle decides to settle on an old score without having to care about the Batman objecting. Catwoman is serving a very bleak dish: Retaliate."

The serial publication will also lineament the foresighted-awaited funny book debut of the DC character Phantasm, who debuted in the 1993 animated film Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.

"And in the present, Bruce and Selina's union is vulnerable by the arrival of one of Batman's then flings, Andrea Beaumont, a.k.a. Phantasm. Beaumont's return calls into question how each character chooses to operate in their costumed, and personal, lives, and whatsoever move by Phantasm could change the fate of Sir David Bruce and Selina's future.

Originally scheduled to debut in January 2020,  Batman/Catwoman is a continuation of Male monarch's 2016-2019 run along DC's main Batman title, with the titular Dark Horse and his on-once more, off-over again lover Catwoman splitting off into this co-headlining 12-issue limited series. DC has now laid the series to run monthly from December 2020 to November 2021, taking a break June 2021 for a Batman/Catwoman Exceptional.

The series is aimed at readers 17 and up, and percentage of DC's Illegal Mark up form.

The first issue will own a primary cover aside Mann and Tomeu Morey, along with variants aside Travis Charest and Jim Lee/Scott Williams/Alex Sinclair.
